Skateboard park The Hope Committee and Thurrock Council have recently installed a Skateboard Park, at The Hardie Road Park in Stanford le Hope, after requests from the youths that frequent the park. On Friday 28th October we were lucky enough to have a professional skateboard artist from Brave Arts come along and Graffiti the park, the artist was Scott Irving B.A.(HONS).
Scott and his partner Darren worked with groups of youths (including Rachel Amery, Chantel Browning Zoe De-La-Fuente, Jacqueline Browning, Jay Hall, and Aaron Keeble) painting the park throughout the day The skateboard project would not have been able to go ahead without a grant of £25,000 from Living Spaces.
