Hope Quiz

for Schools 2005

The second Hope Quiz for schools was held on Friday 29th April at Hassenbrook school, between Hassenbrook, Gable Hall and St Clare's Schools. The winners were Hassenbrook for the second year in succession. This event is arranged between The Hope Committee and Thurrock Council Street Wardens.

Following this years success we hope this event will now become an annual event with the winner each year hosting the quiz the next year. The theme of this year's quiz was Science, (Chemistry, Biology and Physics).

Representing the Hope Committee Rev John Guest and vice Chair Jackie Robe attended the quiz. There were three street wardens also in attendance as well as Cllr Mrs Emma Woods. (who presented the trophy to the winners)

Cllr Woods, the street wardens, John and Jackie made up a team to battle against the schools teams using the name 'Hopeless', and it seems they were, they managed to come in last!
